Clinical Nutritionist | Researcher | Educator
Dr. Karmen Gregg is a clinical nutritionist with over a decade of experience in integrative and functional medicine. She is passionate about helping patients uncover and address the root causes of their symptoms through practical, evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle strategies.
Her doctoral research focused on perinatal nutrition education, exploring how nutrition guidance is delivered in outpatient women’s health clinics. Karmen’s work integrates scientific evidence, traditional midwifery wisdom, and collaborative care models to support providers and patients better. She is especially committed to advancing maternal and infant health, health equity, and patient-centered nutrition education.
In addition to her clinical practice, Karmen teaches health science courses at Great Northern University in Spokane, WA, where she encourages students to approach nutrition and health with cultural humility, critical thinking, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
Outside of work, Karmen enjoys life in the Inland Northwest. She grew up in the countryside outside Tri-Cities, WA, and today you’ll often find her curating new recipes, paddleboarding, exploring the Selkirk mountains, or spending time with her family and friends.
